Ripple

Installation, 2012

In collaboration with agricultural and hydraulic engineer Seth McClure in Madison's Central Library, Madison WI.  Ripple consisted of a video projection on the floor, with hanging mylar screens and a book of drawings bound with plexiglass on a light table.  Both the video and cut outs in the screens reference the Madison lakes and their dynamic relationship with the surrounding landscape from the receding of the Ice Age glaciers to present day and beyond.

Water issues/Runoff
Bell Weather is a new, occasional project from the blog by & large. We’ll choose a theme and ask you to submit an image corresponding to that theme. This summer we’ve been thinking about water (lakes, oceans, floods, droughts, contamination of the water supply, and water rights). We are looking for drawings, photos, sculptures, documentation of a performance or action. Please submit your jpeg to dearkeystone@gmail.com now through Oct. 31
